From 1990-1999, Mr. Trestrail served as the Chairman of the Toxicology Committee, of the North American Mycological Association (NAMA).

He presents many lectures on the basics of mushroom identification, safer mushroom hunting for beginners, and how to logically treat the mushroom poisoned patient.
